The Construction Assistant Project Manager will work closely with other construction Project Managers in planning and delivery of all construction project on behalf of the Client. This will include infra-coordination with the infrastructure section within the department. He/ she will assist the Project Managers in providing technical input for all tasks related to managing construction projects and construction management during the design and development phase.

Assist and Coordinate all aspects of a project related to construction in terms of time, cost and quality, as directed by Project and Senior Managers
Monitor the design process as per pre-approved technical and budgetary
aspects. Seek approvals from authority levels as and when required
Provide technical support to solve problems encountered on the field
Assist with the preparation and communication of all site directions and
instructions with guidance from the Senior Manager. Control all contractual commitments with consultants/ contractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with specifications, codes and regulations, drawings and terms of contract
Perform inspections of work done by subordinates and contractors to ensure adherence to relevant standards and specifications
Work closely with the infrastructure Project Managers to coordinate on
matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems. Escalate to Senior Manager as and when required
Monitor and provide observations regarding budgeting, invoicing and
documentation of Construction projects
Prepare routine management reports on technical field operations and on-
going status of the project
Assist the Senior Manager in drafting technical requirements and evaluation
of RFPs, tenders and IARs
Ensure transparent and prompt in communication at site to enable seamless execution of work instructions
Support and guide all team members at the site location for performance
Assist the Senior Manager to recruit proficient individuals in order to build a
capable team
Perform all other duties, as assigned by Construction Projects Senior
Manager or as per business requirements

? Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/ or post graduate degree in Engineering
? Professionals with certification in Risk Management, Health and Safety, PMP.


Preferred Experience:
? Minimum 5 years’ in Constructions planning and delivery experience on high-profile real estate development projects
? Candidates with experience in the Middle East are preferred
Job-Specific Skills:
? Strong English written and verbal communication skills; self-confident.
? Project management abilities and knowledge of project and contract management software (MS Project/ Primavera)
? Capacity to lead and manage various teams and managing conflicts
? Competent MS-Office (MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel and MS-Word) skills
? Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
